Lyford CISD is Hiring a Program coordinator Near Edinburg, TX
Primary Purpose :
Direct and manage the district's special education and special programs. Ensure that services are provided for special needs students and individualized education plans are provided to meet the needs of all students and all special programs students.
Collaborate with district staff and outside personnel to formulate, develop, implement, and evaluate special programs to include Bilingual / ESL, CTE, Dyslexia, Gifted & Talented, Military Connected, Response to Intervention, Section 504, Special Education and all other special programs.
Warrant compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements.
Qualifications :
Education / Certification :
Bachelor's degree
Master's degree
Knowledge of federal and state special education law and special program rules and regulations
Understanding of the individual needs of special needs students
Ability to communicate with all levels of special needs students and their parents
Ability to implement policy and procedures
Ability to interpret data
Ability to manage budget and personnel
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience :
5 years of teaching experience
2 or more years of campus or district leadership
